Weird Weather

Had one of those sleepless nights.  Decided to watch a movie until I feel asleep.  Yes, there is a TV in the bedroom.  Last time I looked at the clock it was 3:46am.  I woke up at 7:15am, John was still asleep.  I fell back to sleep and woke up again, it was 8:31am.  John was already up.  John does some computer programming on his own, he likes to teach himself how to do it, it has nothing to do with his work.  I saw him on his computer.  He also likes putting puzzles together on his computer too.  I found him on his computer working on a program he is trying to develop.  I told him about my sleepless night.  He said he slept fine, I knew that.

I headed into the kitchen and made my pot of coffee and turned on the TV.  I found USA channel was running a NCIS marathon today.  As the weather was forecasted again with cold and 50% chance of rain, I knew we weren't going anywhere or doing anything.  We both like NCIS.  Even though they are repeats, I figured I found something to keep me entertained for most of the day, along with games on my computer.  I looked outside it was overcast and the temperature was 41 degrees.  I am always interested in the weather, as you can tell.  Today was weird weather day.  It hailed today, can you see the white specks on the decking?

After the hail, the sun came back out, and it continued to sprinkle.  Remember looking out my sliding glass door, this is my view.  The deck shows the rain drops and the sun reflects the trees.

It began to get overcast again and started raining harder.

The sun came out again, not a cloud in the sky.  Only remnants of rain reflect in the puddle on the deck table.

The weather somewhat decides how I should plan my activities.  For example, as you know, I don't like going to the grocery store when it rains, who does?  I look at the weekly forecast and decide, based on the forecast, what day is best to go to the grocery store.  I have to go grocery store next week.  As of now (which we know can change immediately in this area), the forecast is sunny all week with temps expected to be upper 50s and low 60s (finally some spring weather).  Monday is suppose to be the warmest, expected to reach 75 degrees.  Tuesday there will be a 40% chance of rain.  Knowing the Diet Coke delivery comes to Shoppers Food Warehouse on Tuesday, I'm going to try to holdout for Tuesday as my shopping day.  Forty percent chance of rain is a low probability.
